Volunteering at Rose City Airfest is an opportunity to serve your community, meet new people, experience the excitement of the airshow from a whole new perspective, and most importantly, help support the mission of CampV and the East Texas Veterans and military families we serve.

Whether you're welcoming guests, assisting with hospitality, supporting event operations, or helping behind the scenes, every volunteer plays an important role in making Rose City Airfest possible.

WHO MAKES A GREAT VOLUNTEER?

You don't need to be an aviation expert to join our team. We're looking for dependable, enthusiastic people who:

• Enjoy working with and helping others
• Take pride in serving their community
• Work well as part of a team
• Can stay flexible in a fast-paced event environment
• Bring a positive attitude and are ready to jump in where needed
• Want to help create an unforgettable experience for our guests
• Believe in the mission of supporting our Veterans and military families

WHAT TO EXPECT

Airshow days are exciting, busy, and active. Depending on your assignment, volunteer positions may require extended periods of standing or walking and may take place outdoors.

Volunteers should be prepared to:

• Arrive on time and remain for their assigned shift
• Follow instructions from Rose City Airfest staff and volunteer leaders
• Respond to important volunteer communications leading up to the event
• Work cooperatively with staff, fellow volunteers, sponsors, performers, and guests
• Be flexible as event needs and assignments may change
• Help us provide a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for everyone attending

Specific shift times, check-in instructions, attire requirements, and assignments will be provided to approved volunteers before the event.

Yes, the airplanes are a pretty great perk, but Rose City Airfest is about something bigger.

Rose City Airfest benefits CampV, whose mission is to serve East Texas Veterans, service members, and their families. By giving your time, you're helping us put on an incredible community event while supporting an organization dedicated to those who have served our country.

We love volunteer groups!

Businesses, civic organizations, clubs, schools, churches, nonprofits, and other community groups interested in serving together are encouraged to apply.

Group opportunities may vary based on the size of your organization and the needs of the event. Please contact the Rose City Airfest team for additional information about group volunteer opportunities.

Volunteer positions are limited, and submitting an application does not guarantee placement. Applications will be reviewed by the Rose City Airfest team, and approved volunteers will receive additional information regarding assignments, schedules, check-in, and event-day expectations.
